I wanted to fill you in on what my Top 5 favourite fresh scented wax melts are. But before I do, it got me thinking. What exactly is a Fresh Scent?
'Fresh' is an odour description commonly used in perfumery. The 'Fresh Scent' category generally comprises citrus, green, water and fruity fragrance sub-families.
I find fresh scents are perfect for freshening your house when cleaning, or giving a feeling of refreshing your house. Additionally, fresh scents are great for refreshing the mind and empowering you to take some time out for you.
So my top fresh scented wax melts are:
1. APRIL SHOWERS
Crisp, bright lemon softened with vanilla. As clean and fresh as an April Shower and great for refreshing your home.
2. SEA SAMPHIRE AND WATERMINT
A clean citrus scent with top notes of orange and lemon, middle notes of grapefruit, marine and lavender, and base notes of patchouli, musk and amber.
3. MOUNTAIN AIR
A fresh citrus opening followed by eucalyptus, lily and jasmine all resting on a pine base.
4. AVOBATH
A vibrant citrus fragrance combining notes of lemon, verbena, lemongrass on a base of musk and woods.
5. FRESH UNSTOPPABLES
A fruity floral scent with clean and fresh notes combined with orange, peach and green apple. This leads to a heart of jasmine and rose with aromatic nuances of eucalyptus.
